Our mission is to serve an engaged online community of boat owners and marine enthusiasts. Our goals all involve connecting boaters with one another, as we believe that building an engaged community is all about connecting people and facilitating conversations. We intend for Yacht.com to become the most fun and useful gathering place for boaters: the site that most completely connects the people, culture, lifestyle and business of yachting.

Features

Yacht.com's focus is your yacht. We want to be a valuable tool to document and chronicle its life. We have the space to store your manuals and brochures, your specifications and photos. It is completely secure and a permanent record. Right now the tool is primarily for personal use. Once the community grows, we will be adding features to connect members with other boaters, and search for people and professionals who share interests.

Legal Entity and Affiliated organizations

Yacht.com is an affiliate of WestWind Marine Partners, a Virginia-based company providing online content and services to boat owners and recreational marine enthusiasts worldwide. The company's development and management team has deep links over many years to marine manufacturing and design, yacht ownership, brokerage businesses and the luxury yacht industry. We feel a community to independently serve and engage all those who identify themselves with the yachting world is needed. A significant portion of any profits realized from the operations of the community will be granted towards the protection of marine habitats through the WestWind Foundation.
