Use a Yacht.com reply-to address

To really show off your @Yacht.Com identity, it's best for any personal messages that you send to also look like they are coming from that address. Setting this up is usually very simple, but the exact instructions depend on what mail program or service you are using.

We've included set up instructions below for some popular mail clients. If none of these apply to you or if you have any questions at all please contact customer support to assist you, since it is important for us to make these instructions simple and correct.

AOL Mail

Sorry, It is not possible to use your @Yacht.Com address to send outgoing E-mail with AOL. You may wish to consider getting a Gmail account, which is a free and very full featured mail service.

Apple Mail 3.0

  • Select "Mail" from the main Apple Mail menu, and click on "Preferences".
  • Select the "Account Information" tab.
  • In the "Email Address" field, scroll to the end of your current E-mail address, add a comma (,) and then enter your new @Yacht.Com E-mail address.

BlackBerry Internet Service

  • Go to your wireless service provider web site and log in to your BlackBerry Internet Service account.
  • On the BlackBerry Internet Service web site, in the left pane, click Email Accounts.
  • Click the Edit icon beside the email address you want to change the Reply to email address.
  • In the Reply to field, enter your new @Yacht.Com E-mail address.
  • Click Save.

Eudora / Penelope

  • Select "Tools" followed by "Account Settings".
  • Highlight the account you wish to change
  • In the "Reply-to address" field enter your new @Yacht.Com E-mail address.
  • Click on "Ok".

Google Gmail

  • Log in to your Gmail account.
  • Click 'Settings' at the top of any page, and then select the 'Accounts' tab.
  • Click 'Add another email address' in the 'Send mail as' section.
  • Enter your full name in the 'Name' field.
  • Enter your new @Yacht.Com E-mail address in the 'Email address' field.
  • Click 'Next Step',' and then click 'Send Verification' to complete the process.

Gmail will send a verification message to your other E-mail address to confirm that you'd like to add it to your Gmail account. You'll need to click the link in that message, or enter the confirmation code in the 'Accounts' section of your Gmail account, to complete the process. Once you've verified that you'd like to add the address to your account, you can start sending messages using your custom 'From:' address.

Hotmail

  • Select "Options" from the top Hotmail navigation bar.
  • Click "More Options".
  • In the "Manage your account" pane, click on "Send and receive mail from other e-mail accounts".
  • Under "You can send mail from these accounts", click on "Add another account to send mail from".
  • Enter your new @Yacht.Com E-mail address in the entry field and click, "Send verification e-mail".

Hotmail will send a verification message to your inbox to confirm that you'd like to add Yacht.com to your Hotmail account. You'll need to click the link in that message to complete the process. Once you've verified that you'd like to add the address to your account, you can start sending messages using your custom 'From:' address.

iPhone

If you sync your iPhone with a Mac, then set up your identity in Apple Mail (see instructions above) and the iPhone will automatically have the same configuration.

If you use iPhone Email without syncing, then within the iPhone's Settings application:

  • Select Mail, Contacts, and Calendars
  • Select the mail account you wish to change
  • Select the field called Address
  • Enter your new @Yacht.Com E-mail address in the Address field. If you wish to keep any other addresses in that field separate each address by a comma

Lotus Notes

  • Select "File" menu from the toolbar
  • Click on "Mobile" and later in "Edit Current Location"
  • Go to "Basics" tab
  • In the "Internet Mail Adress" field enter your new @Yacht.Com E-mail address.
  • Click on "Save & Close"

Microsoft Entourage

  • Select "Accounts" from the "Tools" menu.
  • Under the Mail tab, edit the mail account you want to send from.
  • Select the Options tab.
  • Under "Additional Headers", add in a new header: Reply-to
  • Under "Value", enter your new @Yacht.Com E-mail address.

Opera Mail

  • Select "Mail and Chat Accounts" from the "Tools" menu.
  • Select the mail account to edit, and click "Edit".
  • In the "Reply-to " field enter your new @Yacht.Com E-mail address.
  • Click on "Ok".

Outlook Express

  • Select "Tools" from the Outlook Express menu.
  • Click "Accounts".
  • Select the "Email Accounts" tab.
  • Select the E-mail account that you wish to change.
  • Select "Properties".
  • Select the "General" tab.
  • In the "Reply address" field enter your new @Yacht.Com E-mail address.

Outlook 2002

If you are configured to use Microsoft Exchange as your E-mail server, contact your exchange administrator to set up your@Yacht.Com E-mail address.

If you are configured to use POP or IMAP:

  • Select "E-mail Accounts" from the "Tools" menu.
  • Choose "View or change existing e-mail accounts".
  • Click "Next".
  • Highlight the account you wish to change.
  • Click "Change".
  • Click "More Settings".
  • In the "Reply E-mail" field enter your new @Yacht.Com E-mail address.

Outlook 2003

If you are configured to use Microsoft Exchange as your E-mail server, contact your exchange administrator to set up your@Yacht.Com E-mail address.

If you are configured to use POP or IMAP:

  • Select "E-mail Accounts" from the "Tools" menu.
  • Choose "View or change existing e-mail accounts".

Thunderbird 2.0

  • Select "Tools" followed by "Account Settings".
  • Highlight the account you wish to change
  • In the "Reply-to address" field enter your new @Yacht.Com E-mail address.
  • Click on "Ok".

Windows Mail

  • Select the option "Accounts" from the "Tools" menu
  • Select the account and click on "Properties"
  • Enter your new @Yacht.Com E-mail address in the "Email address" and "Reply to Adress" fields.
  • Click on "Ok" button

Yahoo! Mail (New)

  • Log in to your Yahoo mail account.
  • Click "Options" at the top of the page and select "Mail Options".
  • On the left-hand panel, click "Accounts".
  • Click "Add or edit an account".
  • Click "Add".
  • Give the account a name, such as "Yacht.com" and click "Continue".
  • Enter your name and new @Yacht.Com E-mail address and click "Continue".
  • Skip the "Mail Server" step.
  • Click "Send Verification".
  • The address to which Yacht.com forwards your mail should receive a confirmation E-mail. Click the link contained within.
  • Select "Verify Account".

Yahoo! Mail (Classic)

  • Log in to your Yahoo mail account.
  • Click "Options" at the top of the page and select "Mail Options".
  • Choose "General Preferences".
  • Under the Name and Email section enter your new @Yacht.Com E-mail address in the "Reply To" field.
  • Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Save".
