Yacht of the Month: The 262-Foot Batello Is a Floating Wellness Retreat and Adventure Playground
This 262’ superyacht for charter has a spa, pickleball court, and cold-plunge Jacuzzi.
The 262’ (80m) superyacht Batello captured much attention as the largest yacht at the Antigua Charter Yacht Show in December last year and has been a charter favorite this season. Delivered in 2007 as the first of the acclaimed Oceanco Y700 series, the yacht for charter pioneered a new era of design for yachts of this size, introducing features uncommon at the time.
Bold lines, expansive balconies, and three-dimensional spaces set the standard for aesthetics and technical excellence, leading to a refresh and refit at the Dutch shipyard in 2025. This resulted in upgraded interiors and improved entertainment spaces that further added to her award-winning design and charter-favorable credentials.
An Award-Winning, Pedigree Design
Batello’s striking dark blue steel hull contrasts with the clean, white superstructure, an exterior design created by Nuvolari Lenard, also known for iconic yacht projects like the 400’ (122m) Lürssen Kismet. The naval architecture is courtesy of Azure Yacht Design.
Inside, the original interiors from Alberto Pinto have been refitted by FM Architettura, combining elegant charm with modern-day luxury. Every detail now reflects a balance of style, comfort, and functionality—perfect for the charter market.

Accommodation & Crew
The superyacht accommodates 12 guests across nine well-appointed cabins, serviced by a crew of 26. The crew team includes a personal trainer, spa therapist, dive instructor, and Pilates/yoga teacher, providing a fully tailored charter experience. For peace of mind, there is also an onboard medical room.
The owner’s full-beam suite offers private access to two Jacuzzis (including one cold plunge), while the main saloon’s impressive centerpiece is a grand Steinway & Sons piano and a space that transforms into a cinema room. Alfresco dining on the bridge deck is complemented by a bar and barbecue, and a glass elevator connects all five decks, making every area easily accessible.
Wellness & Entertainment
Batello works equally well as a wellness retreat and a playground, offering a spa, hair salon, fully equipped gym, and a heated pool on the upper deck. For sporting fun, the bridge aft deck can be converted into a space for pickleball or basketball.
The yacht hasn’t scrimped on the toy offering, with plenty to keep guests of all ages occupied. The toy box includes e-Foils, Seabobs, Flite e-scotters, scuba diving gear, Tiwal sailing dinghies, stand-up paddleboards, surfboards, waterskis, and towing inflatables.
When it comes to inflatables, the yacht also boasts a climbing wall and slide. While an inflatable beach platform creates more on-water lounging spots. Plus, a full suite of beach toys and furniture can be taken ashore for ideal beach setups.
