Amels’ Netto II Debuts With Speakeasy Vibes, Beach Club, and Helipad
The 262’ superyacht combines 1960s-inspired interiors, a three-sided beach club, and helicopter landings on its semi-custom platform.
Dutch shipyard Damen Yachting has now revealed the second yacht in its Amels Limited Edition line, the 262’ (80m) Netto II, following the delivery of the first hull, Pangea, in October 2025. The yacht departed the sheds this week and has already attracted attention for its stylish, and signature design.
Commissioned on speculation and sold in 2022, Netto II showcases what’s possible in semi-custom superyacht builds. Then, in summer 2024, the yacht was transferred from Amels’ hull-building facility in Romania to Vlissingen.
Iconic Design Combination
Like Pangea, Netto II also sports exterior lines by acclaimed designer Espen Oino and a metallic “dolphin blue” hull that immediately catches the eye. While the Limited Edition platform provides a proven technical base for faster delivery than fully custom yachts, it still allows for personalized layouts and interiors.
The interiors of the line, described as “neutral and natural,” are by Sinot Yacht Architecture and Design, but the specifics of this model remain largely hush-hush. However, early information from the yard suggests a glamorous, lounge-style aesthetic reminiscent of a 1960s speakeasy and casino.
Guest Experience
Accommodating 14 guests with a crew of 20, the Amels motor yacht will exceed the one-to-one service ratio typical of superyachts and provide an onboard experience designed to maximize comfort and style. First reflected in the speakeasy-style bar lounge for entertainment, and further in other standout amenities.
The beach club, which opens on three sides—a signature feature of Amels 80—will connect guests to the water and lounging areas. Nearby is the wellness area featuring a hammam, sauna, and fully equipped gym. Lighting up this workout space is the skylight, thanks to the glass bottom of the main deck pool, spanning an impressive length of 21’ (6.5m).
Play, Relax, Repeat
Entertainment and socializing take center stage on board, with a 2,153-square-foot sundeck social hub featuring a Jacuzzi and seating areas. The foredeck helipad facilitates helicopter arrivals and departures, and a dedicated owner’s deck for privacy.
The yard also suggests there will be ample storage for a fleet of tenders and water sports toys, keeping deck space uncluttered. After the final outfitting stages, the delivery of the yacht to its owner is scheduled to be ahead of this summer’s Mediterranean season.
A Semi-Custom Formula
Amels’ Limited Edition approach is proving a hit, with Netto II demonstrating how a semi-custom, and proven, platform can combine faster delivery with bespoke details without requiring a fully custom build. Following this second launch of the series, the next delivery is set to be the third hull under the Project Zurich name, scheduled for later this year.
