The Caribbean Beach Clubs Every Superyacht Guest Should Know About

Pairing seamless tender access with tropical bliss, discover the best Caribbean beach clubs for yacht charters, from chic St. Barths to the soulful Riviera Maya.

Arriving by tender to a chic beach club can be a highlight of any Caribbean yacht charter. After a morning spent sailing the turquoise waters, you can step ashore and relax on a shaded lounger, sipping refreshing cocktails while the music drifts across white powdery sands. Throughout the region, there is a wide range of beach clubs catering to those who arrive by sea, pairing seamless dockside access with exceptional service, delicious cuisine, and a glamorous setting.

Whether seeking a see-and-be-seen island experience that draws celebrities and all sorts of jetsetters, or a remote isle that can only be accessed by water, all of these beach clubs offer much more than a simple lunch stop for yachters.

Nikki Beach, Saint-Jean Bay, St. Barths

Nikki Beach may be the most famous beach club to visit on a luxury yacht charter in the Caribbean. Located on St. Jean Beach, it opened in 2002 and has become renowned for its jet-set glamour as the heart of the party scene on the island, particularly during the holiday season. Yachters can anchor in Saint-Jean Bay and tender right to the shore.

Epitomizing barefoot luxury, Nikki Beach is a hotspot for superyacht guests cruising through the region, complete with all-white sunbeds, international DJs spinning high-energy tunes, celebrity sightings, and gourmet dining, including fresh seafood dishes, caviar, sushi platters, and salads. Sunday brunch is one of the highlights, but you’ll need to book your beachfront table well in advance during the peak of the tourist season.

Gyp Sea Beach Club, Saint Jean Bay, St. Barths

Known for its eco-friendly bohemian vibe, Gyp Sea Beach Club is located on Pelican Beach in Saint Jean Bay, providing another great option for yachters visiting St. Barths. Nikki is the place to go for a party, whereas Gyp Sea offers more of a relaxed atmosphere, although there is a DJ spinning Franco-Caribbean tunes, ideal for dancing barefoot on the sand. It’s the better pick for watersports, with Seabobs, Fliteboards, jet skis, SUPs, and other gear. You’ll also find plush sunbeds for soaking up the sun and sipping handcrafted cocktails served with flair. When it comes to cuisine, the menu features famously delicious BBQ and a variety of seafood dishes, including lobster rolls and King crab legs.

Basil’s Bar, Mustique

Basil’s is an overwater Caribbean legend in St. Vincent and the Grenadines that’s been at the heart of Mustique Island’s social scene since the 1970s, attracting a long list of well-known names from rock stars like Mick Jagger to royals. You can drop anchor in Brittania Bay and enjoy the short tender ride to the dock before kicking back in rocking chairs as you watch the superyachts that follow. There’s no need to dress up, arrive in your suit, soaked, with feet covered in sand—you might just be treated to an impromptu performance from one of the high-profile singers who decide to grab the mic. No matter what you dine on, from the prawn linguini to the sublime tuna tacos, the view can’t be beat.

Cocomaya, Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands

Hiding among the massive volcanic boulders in Virgin Gorda on a stunning stretch made up of chalk-white sands, CocoMaya has often been named among the world’s best beach clubs, including a ranking by Condé Nast Traveler in 2025. It’s all about barefoot elegance, blending breathtaking views of Dog, Scrub, and Camanoe islands with laid-back luxury.

Enjoy impressive drinks, including the fabulous Champagne cocktail with lychees and ginger, and a Latin-Asian fusion menu featuring plates to share, like scallop ceviche and corn tacos. Blissfully meandering from your sunbed to the bar and back, with beverage in hand and your toes digging deep in the silky, soft sand is one of the most popular ways to spend your time here.

The Lovango Resort + Beach Club, Lovango Cay, USVI

Located on Lovango Cay, a private island nestled between St. Thomas and St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands, The Lovango Resort + Beach Club is totally off-grid. Power is provided by wind and solar, while a desalination system converts the saltwater to potable water. The luxury accommodations, restaurant, and beach club are all sustainable, allowing yachters to enjoy a more environmentally-friendly visit.

Access is only by private vessel or the resort’s daily ferry service from Red Hook in St. Thomas and Cruz Bay in St. John, which helps keep the crowds away. Visiting superyachts can anchor in the bay and tender in to enjoy a day relaxing in one of the cabanas or chaise loungers around the beach club’s infinity pool. There are also scenic hiking trails that wind through tropical greenery, leading to remote North Beach with its many pelicans, or the 255-foot peak of the island. The waterfront restaurant that overlooks Pillsbury Sound offers a menu featuring Caribbean-inspired dishes for lunch. Later in the day, it’s all about light bites and themed cocktails.

Gitano Beach, Tulum, México

Gitano Beach Tulum is a restaurant and beach club that sits within Parque Nacional Tulum, known for its well-preserved Mayan ruins that top limestone cliffs overlooking the Caribbean. Yachters anchor just off the coast of South Tulum, with access via tender or dinghy. Tucked into a private cove with an unspoiled stretch of white sands lapped by shallow, cobalt blue waters, Gitano draws a stylishly bohemian crowd.

Guests relax on shaded loungers or under the giant thatched-roof palapa, where talented mixologists prepare cocktails like the popular Burnt Pineapple Mezcalita with grilled pineapple and lime husks. The menu is Mexican with a Mediterranean twist, featuring everything from light beachside bites to wood-fired dishes and fresh seafood. All can be enjoyed with a soundtrack that combines the waves and an eclectic mix of world music meets disco.

Zama Beach Club, Isla Mujeres, México

Located on Playa Norte, one of the most beautiful beaches in Mexico, Zama Beach Club offers a luxurious oasis with dedicated yacht access, private docks, an infinity pool, and fine dining. Not nearly as busy as the beach clubs closer to town, it has a relaxed “tropical chic” atmosphere, ideal for sipping handcrafted cocktails while lounging in one of the plush daybeds, steps from the sea.

Don’t expect blaring music, although occasionally, DJ-spun tunes or live music can be enjoyed at a reasonable volume. The menu is often referred to as a “gastronomic adventure,” thanks to renowned Chef Federico Lopez. He’s legendary for whipping up innovative dishes featuring sustainable seafood, Japanese-influenced, and contemporary Mexican fare.

Da’Vida, Anguilla

Overlooking stunning Crocus Bay, Da’Vida Beach Club is renowned for its sweeping sea views and gourmet Caribbean-inspired dining, with everything from grilled lobster to BBQ ribs. Ideal for those seeking a refined yet relaxed vibe rather than a loud party scene and lots of bling, it’s often visited by yachters. The tranquil waters make it easy for tenders to drop guests off right at the beach. There are opportunities for kayak rides to Little Bay, SUP rentals, and live music on Saturday afternoons. Plus, cocktails can be delivered direct to your lounger, complimentary for all lunch guests.

Sheer Rocks, Antigua

Offering a Mediterranean beach club-style venue in the Caribbean, Sheer Rocks is a bit different than the rest, set atop a rocky cliff along the west coast of Antigua. Surrounded by awe-inspiring scenery, it’s an exclusive spot for relaxation, complete with waterfront cabanas and two cliffside plunge pools. Perched above Ffryes Beach, it’s also highly regarded as a premier, yacht-friendly destination, often catering to superyacht guests who arrive by tender from their yachts anchored nearby at sea. Look forward to luxurious sun-soaked lounging and dining on dishes from Mediterranean-inspired menus that use the island’s freshest, sustainably sourced ingredients, from tapas lunches to sunset dinners.

Karacoli Beach & Spa, Deshaies, Guadeloupe

If you plan on sailing the French Caribbean, you won’t want to miss Karacoli Beach & Spa. Located along Grand-Anse Beach, one of the most postcard-perfect in Guadeloupe, it’s a stylish, under-the-radar spot that you won’t soon forget. Step off the tender and look forward to a simple yet sophisticated atmosphere for sipping classic Mai Tais and rum punch along with Creole-inspired small plates like spiced wings and grilled marlin.

The setting is the star of the show, best enjoyed from a hammock, lounger, or private beach hut, but you can take relaxation up a notch with a full-body massage or foot reflexology. It’s the perfect vantage point for watching a colorful sunset over the sea. Stick around after dark to enjoy the live music, DJs, and dancing that make Karacoli a hot spot for nightlife.

Nipper’s Beach Bar & Grill, Grand Guana Cay, Bahamas

One of the most well-known beach clubs in the Bahamas, Nipper’s is a popular destination for those cruising through the islands on a private yacht charter, including celebrities. It’s spread across multiple levels, boasting spectacular views of a four-mile-long stretch of pristine white sands lapped by crystal-clear turquoise water. Guests can enjoy two swimming pools, music, a menu of Caribbean and international fare, and direct access to the beach, which includes chairs shaded by umbrellas. It’s a fun and lively place to party, especially on Sundays when it hosts a famous pig roast.
