Yacht Of The Month: The Pearl 100 Hybrid Setting New Sustainable Standards For 2026
Pearl 100 Hybrid debuts as 2026's first eco-luxury yacht with E-Motion propulsion, owner suites, and silent electric mode.
First unveiled at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival, the UK builder Pearl Yachts’ 100 Hybrid model is turning heads when it comes to 2026 yachts to watch. A 96’ (30m) raised pilothouse motor yacht, this flagship—replacing the Pearl 95—is the first in Pearl’s fleet to feature hybrid propulsion. The first model is due to hit the water this year.
The yacht retains Pearl’s signature touches including intelligent layouts, combined with next-generation propulsion systems. From the drawing boards of Dixon Yacht Design, responsible for the exterior lines and naval architecture, the Pearl 100 has a sleek, contemporary profile.
To accompany Dixon is the long-standing collaborator Kelly Hoppen for the yacht’s interiors. The “Monochrome” semi-custom interior proposal is currently shown on the yard’s website, with “Indulgence” and “Modern” as the other semi-custom aesthetic options.
A First In Hybrid For Pearl
At the crux of Pearl 100’s appeal is the fully integrated E-Motion hybrid propulsion system, paired with a pair of MAN 2,000 hp diesel engines. The hybrid system intelligently switches between power sources depending on cruising or hotel load demands, optimizing efficiency.
The benefits of this system include reducing fuel consumption and engine hours, as well as significantly reducing noise and emissions at anchor with the silent overnight hotel mode, without the use of generators.
At anchor, owners can benefit from the electric motors. Unlike a typical optional offering, the yard has ensured this system comes standard on the models, ultimately helping make the technology more affordable at a competitive price point. And while hybrid, this doesn’t mean a lack of performance; the Pearl flagship can still reach up to 24 knots.

Designed For Entertaining And Relaxing
The flybridge is a highlight, complete with a Jacuzzi, lounging areas, and alfresco dining. Aft, at the cockpit, the drop-down terraces mean guests can easily access the sea, creating a beach-club vibe and increased deck space. A large tender garage also hosts a Jet Ski, Williams 445 DieselJet, and other water toys.
All Eyes On Pearl
As with every model in the Pearl range, the Pearl 100 Hybrid is delivered with a five-year warranty, offering owners peace of mind and underlining the build’s confidence and quality.
The Pearl 100 Hybrid joins a growing Pearl fleet. Alongside this new flagship, Pearl Yachts has also revealed plans for the upcoming Pearl 73 at this week’s boot Düsseldorf yacht show, with a range of features and the introduction of a new Riviera-style aft deck layout.
