Gemma grew up by the Thames Estuary in Essex in the UK, a small stretch of water that eventually led her to cross oceans. Her travel curiosity was sparked from a young age, as she traveled to South America and Asia, completed a ski season in Europe, and explored the world's oceans, spending a decade working on board superyachts. She has visited numerous destinations by yacht—exploring the Mediterranean, sailing the Arctic Circle, island-hopping the Caribbean, crossing the Panama Canal, and cruising through the South Pacific. Whether profiling a superyacht or yacht crew, writing copy for a superyacht business, or mapping out dream charter itineraries, she brings firsthand insight and authentic luxury travel knowledge. Her work has been published in leading yacht industry titles, including Boat International, Robb Report, Yachts International, and Yachting magazine.
