About K.c.

Growing up in California, K.C. has always loved the water. It's her "happy place," from sailing the Baja coast where she lives, alongside whales and dolphins, to cruising through tropical islands. There's nothing like leaping into the turquoise waters of a secluded bay while surrounded by nature's beauty, but sipping a glass of bubbly while watching a sunset can be just as memorable. She's sailed among orcas in the Pacific Northwest, marveled at penguins and blue-footed boobies cruising the Galapagos Islands, and has explored countless other destinations by yacht, in the Mediterranean, Caribbean, the Indian Ocean, and more. K.C.'s writing career began over 15 years ago with Yahoo! Travel and Yahoo! Sports, followed by a long list of other travel publications, including Cruise Insider, Cruise Croatia, Trips To Discover and Honeymoons.com, with a focus on outdoor adventures and wildlife.
