Inside Kismet’s Spa Deck: A Sauna, Hammam and Cryotherapy Chamber at Sea

When it comes to superyacht wellness, Kismet takes the concept well beyond a gym and massage room. The 400’ (122m) Lürssen superyacht was delivered in 2024 and made an immediate impression when she debuted at the Monaco Yacht Show that year. 

Designed inside and out by some of the biggest names in yacht design, Kismet pairs Nuvolari Lenard’s sleek exterior lines with a sophisticated interior by Reymond Langton Design.But among the yacht’s many headline-grabbing features, it is the dedicated wellness suite that offers one of the most memorable ways to spend a day on board.

A Balinese-Inspired Sanctuary

Kismet’s spa has been designed as a destination in its own right, drawing on the tranquillity of a Balinese retreat while packing in an impressive array of high-tech wellness facilities.

Guests can move between a hammam, sauna and iced plunge pool, while heated loungers provide a place to unwind between treatments. There is also a private treatment room with a massage table, waterfall shower and chromotherapy bathtub.

At the center of the experience is one particularly unusual addition: a cryotherapy chamber capable of reaching temperatures of around -86°C. It means a morning on board could involve anything from a traditional hammam session to an extreme cold treatment, followed by time spent relaxing in the spa before heading out onto the water.

Wellness Meets Fitness

For guests who prefer to stay active, Kismet’s wellness offering continues beyond the spa.

The yacht has a dedicated gym and yoga studio, with the fitness spaces opening onto private sea terraces. A juice bar completes the setup, making it possible to move from a workout to a freshly prepared drink without ever leaving the wellness deck.

It is an approach that reflects the changing role of wellness on board superyachts. Rather than being an afterthought squeezed into an unused corner of the yacht, Kismet’s facilities are designed around the idea that wellbeing can be a central part of a charter.

As Well As Everything Else

Kismet is also about considerably more than the spa days. The yacht accommodates up to 12 guests across eight cabins and has a crew of 36. Her entertainment spaces include an outdoor cinema, beach club, swimming pool and deck Jacuzzi, while the lower deck is home to the Nemo cinema, complete with a 150-inch screen and underwater viewing area.

Her design is equally theatrical. A distinctive jaguar figurehead adorns the bow, while the interiors by Reymond Langton combine elaborate detailing with spaces designed for entertaining and relaxation.

While her scale, design, and entertainment spaces might make the headlines, the wellness suite offers something guests typically look for, and that’s a space to slow down. For those looking to charter Kismet, rates currently start at $3 million per week, plus expenses, making her one of the most exclusive charter yachts on the market.
