Meet The Catamaran That Packs A Full Beach Club And Six Suites Into 110’

Canadian yard unveils first customizable catamaran with 7,100sqft of living space.

Crescent Custom Yachts has splashed into the growing luxury catamaran market with the launch of its first multihull project, the 110’ (33.5m) CCY110 – and it’s already taking shape in the yard.

The Canadian shipyard has begun building the first hull of the new CCY110 series on speculation, allowing a future owner to customize the interior design, accommodation layout and technical systems without the lead times typically associated with a fully bespoke build.

The payoff, according to Crescent, is the best of both worlds: a faster delivery schedule combined with a high level of owner involvement throughout the build process.

Superyacht Space In A Compact Catamaran

Penned by American yacht designer Joe Lazzara, with naval architecture by Gregory C. Marshall, the CCY110 combines the generous interior volume of a much larger monohull with the stability and efficiency benefits of a catamaran.

The numbers speak for themselves with more than 7,100 square feet (660sqm) of indoor and outdoor living space across a 36’ (11m) beam, with an interior volume exceeding 400GT. Crescent says this delivers the amenities typically associated with a 148’ (45m) superyacht within a more compact platform.

The proposed layout includes six guest staterooms, including a full-beam owner’s suite, with flexibility for owners to tailor the accommodation to suit private or charter use.

A Beach Club Built Takes Center Stage

A standout feature is the 1,500-square-foot (139sqm) beach club, conceived as the yacht’s primary entertainment space rather than a traditional waterside lounge.

The indoor-outdoor area is anchored by an open-air chef’s kitchen with a teppanyaki grill, multiple lounge spaces, a plunge pool, sauna, and wellness area, and direct access to the sea via integrated swim stairs. It’s a layout that speaks to a wider shift onboard superyachts, where wellness and socializing are increasingly taking the spotlight.

Built For Shallow-Water Cruising

Built entirely in aluminum, the CCY110 has been engineered for efficient operation and a relatively shallow draft, allowing access to cruising grounds such as Florida and the Bahamas that are often inaccessible to yachts of a similar size.

The design also focuses on reducing engineering complexity while maximizing interior volume and long-term operating efficiency, creating a platform intended to balance performance, practicality and owner flexibility.

Hull and deck construction is already underway, with Crescent expected to reveal further details and project updates of the CCY110 at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show this October.
