Inside the New Pershing GTX90: The Sport Utility Yacht Built for Outdoor Living
With a 35-knot performance and oversized social spaces, Pershing's latest Sport Utility Yacht is built for today's yachting lifestyle.
Pershing has expanded its fast-growing GTX range with the launch of the first GTX90. This 92′ (28m) model introduces an exciting middle ground between high-performance sport yachts and today’s demand for flexible and outdoor-centered living.
Positioned between the GTX80 and the flagship GTX116, the new arrival continues the Ferretti Group brand’s “Sport Utility Yacht” concept, with Pershing’s trademark speed and style and the kind of space owners and charter guests increasingly can’t live without.

More Space Where It Matters
Developed in collaboration with Vallicelli Design Studio, the GTX90 keeps the sleek, unmistakably Pershing profile the brand is known for, but this time it’s about maximizing life outdoors.
A standout feature is the 355-square-foot sportbridge, which Pershing says offers about 45% more usable deck space than on similarly sized yachts. Rather than a simple helm station, it doubles as a full social space with sun loungers, dining space, and relaxed seating.
At the aft, fold-down terraces mean the cockpit transforms into a wider waterfront lounge, creating a larger entertaining area with panoramic sunpads and sea views.
Indoor And Outdoor Living
The same design philosophy continues inside. An open-plan main deck creates a natural flow between the salon and exterior decks, while clean contemporary styling complements Pershing’s sporting character without sacrificing practicality.
Down on the lower deck, accommodation for eight is arranged across four cabins, including a full-beam owner’s suite, VIP cabin, and two guest cabins. Another notable addition is the double garage, providing storage for tenders and water toys — an increasingly important feature of yachts today.

Performance As A Non-Negotiable
Despite the increased focus on outdoor living, Pershing hasn’t forgotten the performance aspect that defines the Ferretti brand. Powered by twin MAN V12 engines, the GTX90 can reach up to a speedy 35 knots, while its sharp vertical bow and flowing convex sheer line also reinforce the yacht’s powerful stance.
The Rise Of The SUY
The launch of the GTX90 highlights this wider shift in yacht design where owners and charterers are looking for yachts that can wear multiple hats — fast cruising, watersports, entertaining, family time and extended stays are no longer competing priorities.
Rather than a trade-off between performance and comfort, this latest launch from Pershing means the two can coexist, a yacht that is equally suited to a high-speed island hop or a leisurely weekend anchored in a secluded bay.
