Antonini Navi’s Seamore 34 Proves The Explorer Yacht Trend Is Only Getting Bolder
The 112’ yacht project blends rugged expedition DNA and marks multiple milestones for the Italian builder.
Italian yacht builder Antonini Navi has taken a decisive step forward with the debut of the Seamore 34, a 112’ (34m) custom yacht that doubles as a design statement and strategic milestone for the shipyard.
What began as a one-off commission has become the foundation for a bold new semi-custom direction for the brand. The steel-and-aluminum yacht is the first to be designed and built entirely at Antonini Navi’s La Spezia facility, and the first under 500GT to emerge from the yard, showing a clear ambition to move into the evolving explorer segment.
Explorer Lines, Modern Edge
At first glance, the Seamore 34 confidently leans into its explorer credentials. An elevated bow and clean vertical stern give the profile a purposeful silhouette — but this is no utilitarian yacht. The rugged profile is balanced by contemporary detailing and lifestyle-driven design. Large cutaway bulwarks and fold-down terraces soften the boundaries between interior and exterior.

Hot Lab Vision
Interior design comes from Milan-based studio Hot Lab, which has taken a layered approach to onboarding living, combining classic influences with a distinctly modern aesthetic. The main deck alone spans around 1,600 square feet, and it’s been planned with flow in mind rather than rigid separation. Sliding glass panels allow spaces to open completely when desired or be closed off just as easily for moments of privacy, depending on how the yacht is used.
Materials are doing a lot of the heavy lifting when it comes to the atmosphere onboard. Antiqued glass, ribbed detailing, and soft pastel-lacquered finishes bring a gentler, more relaxed feel inside—balancing out the yacht’s stronger, more purposeful exterior lines.
Living Without Boundaries
The Seamore 34 accommodates up to ten guests and movement — physical and visual — was a central design priority throughout. Rather than fixed, enclosed rooms, the layout prioritizes continuity between spaces, encouraging a natural flow from one zone to the next.
The effect is a sense of openness that feels more residential than traditional yacht design, while still having the functionality required for extended time at sea. Fold-down terraces further extend the living space outward, once again highlighting the yacht’s connection to the water.

Upper Deck For Outdoor Living
The upper deck continues the emphasis on flexibility and lifestyle. Forward and aft of the central sky lounge, expansive outdoor areas create various social zones offering guests options for sunbathing, dining, or taking in the views. This approach means the yacht never feels static, and spaces adapt to use, weather, and guest preferences.
The Evolved Explorer
With the Seamore 34, Antonini Navi is clearly positioning itself in a fast-moving segment of the market—one where explorer yachts are defined not just by endurance and capability but increasingly by comfort, design, and individual expression.
By combining genuine expedition DNA with interior sophistication and lifestyle thinking more commonly associated with displacement cruisers, this Italian yacht is staking its claim in a segment that is far from slowing down. For the shipyard, the Seamore 34 is more than a first; it’s a statement about where the explorer yacht trend is headed next.
