The origins of the Aicon Group date back to 1993; at that time the initial activity was concentrated primarily on the design and supply of turnkey interior design solutions. After having specialized in furniture for the nautical sector, in 1996 operations were moved to Giammoro (ME). In 1999, the experience gained, the results achieved, and the growth outlook in the nautical sector lead the founder to enter the sector as a motor yacht builder. It was at that moment that the design of the first model, the Aicon 56 Fly was started. It was then presented at the Genoa Boat Show 2001, where the following year it was awarded the prestigious Festival de La Plaisance of Cannes World Yachts Trophy as the best yacht in the flybridge segment (40-60 ft.). The Aicon 56 Fly met with growing success on the market and the accounting period closed on August 31, 2002 with a total of 12 yachts sold.Since its inception, the Group has worked to create a wide-ranging distribution network, which allows, on the one hand to operate according to a strategy of internationalization and on the other to lay the foundations for future expansion.
